Andre Ward

For the month of April we want to highlight the tenacious and amazing Andre Ward. Andre is a former American boxer who started professional boxing career right after winning a gold in the light heavyweight division at the 2004. He retired with an undefeated record of 32-0, 16 of those being wins by knockout. And as awesome as all of that is, what shines the most to us is his love for God. Just to show you serious his faith is to him, the man’s nickname is S.O.G. ( Son of God ).

We personally love the fact that he uses his platform to profess his love of Christ. He acknowledges in countless interviews and pre fight documentaries that he wouldn’t be where he is today without his unwavering faith in God. What is also admiring is how active he is with his family, making them a top priority, even when preparing for a big fight. Eating with his kids, listening to their stories, and then going back to training. He is the great example of what it looks like to be a God fearing man.
